Our new plant based Taco Filling looks and tastes like ground beef combined with bold southwest seasoning. Create flavorful tacos and burritos. You can toss some of the mix right onto salads for flavorful extra protein.
There is a meatless revolution happening. These products are better for you and better for the planet. Retail sales of plant based meat substitute increased 148% last year. This product is shelf stable and needs no refrigeration. The pandemic has caused both shortages and cost increases in the meat supply.
Each pouch yields 32 - 2 oz. servings. Each case contains 6 pouches. You can purchase by the pouch or case, depending upon your needs.
For 11 - 2 oz. servings: Add 1 pint of cold water to a saucepan. Bring water to a boil, then turn of heat. Add 1 ¾ cups Bernard Foods Meatless Taco MIx to hot water and stir briefly. Cover pan and allow to stand for 5 minutes prior to serving.
For 32 - 2 oz. servings: Add 3 pints of cold water to a large saucepan. Bring water to a boil, then turn of heat. Add 1 pouch Bernard Foods Meatless Taco MIx to hot water and stir briefly. Cover pan and allow to stand for 5 minutes prior to serving.
